70, died on Wednesday, March 05, 2014, in Bradenton, Florida.
Carol was born on September 07, 1943, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Eldon H. Roush and Martha (Pape) Roush.
Carol married Ronald G. Bice on February 4, 1964. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was a graduate of Lima Senior High School in 1961. She attended Ohio State University and obtained a teaching certificate. She was the cafeteria manager at Lima South Jr. High, a teacher in the Vocational Food Service Program at Lima Senior High School and manager of the Spartan Inn. She obtained her real estate license and sold real estate for CCR Realtors up until the time of her death. Carol loved her family who always came first. Her unconditional love surrounded us. She was a teacher, a mentor, a cook, a baker and a true lover of life. She never backed down or stopped helping others. She touched many lives. Her favorite past times were boating on Indian Lake, vacationing on any beach and seeing her family happy. She was a true beauty inside and out.
She is survived by: a son Douglas (Melanie Kesner) Bice, of Lima, OH, a daughter, Bethany Ann Bice, of Belle Center, OH; two sisters, Barbara (Larry) Curtis, of Lima, OH, and Janet Taylor, of Spruce Pine, NC; a grandson, Ronald Tyler Bice, he is in her heart, and soon to be granddaughter Audrey Kesner; two nieces, Molly Curtis, and Maggie Curtis; a nephew Christopher (Heather) Taylor; two great nephews Samuel Curtis and Aiden Taylor; two dear friends, Kris Binkley, and Teresa Taylor. She had many close friends and colleagues.
She is preceded in death by: a daughter Karen Sue Bice.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A memorial service will begin at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Rev. Wanda Werking and will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lima City Schools Career Tech Scholarship Fund in Carol Bices' name.
