Carol Conley

Carol S. Conley 68, died at 1:36 a.m. August 24, 2009, at Baton Rouge Senior Health Services Community. She was born March 16, 1941, in Lima, Ohio to Edward and Grace Giffons Bishop, who preceded her in death. On May 22, 1992, she married James W. ?Bill? Conley, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Conley was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 Auxiliary and a member of American Legion Post 96 Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors also include three daughters, Crystal Bly, of Lima, Ohio, Mindy (Dan) Straker, of Bucyrus, Ohio, and Robin Kidd, of Marysville, Ohio; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Bishop; and a sister, Nancy Stapleton. Memorial services will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Vince Nelson will officiate. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice.
