Carol Barbara Ervin,

65, passed away at 2:41 PM on Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima.

Carol was born on January 1, 1951, in Lima, to the late Robert and Leona (Schneider) Keiffer. She graduated from LCC, was a former employee of Gronas Egg Company, and was a loving wife and mother. On Saturday, June 10, 1972, she married John Wesley Ervin, he survives in Lima. She is also survived by: a son, John Ervin, Jr.; a daughter, Teresa Ervin; siblings, Delores (Robert) Whitacre of Lima, Ruth LeBlanc of Elida, Paul (Rachel) Keiffer of West Minster, Jeanette Robison of Wood Bridge, VA, Marilyn (Joe) Vinoski of Lake Anna, VA, Tom (Nancy) Keiffer of Lima, and Roberta (Ronald) Langmeyer of Lima.
She is preceded in death by: siblings, Robert Keiffer, Mildred Nolan, Joan McCrea, and Ronald Keiffer.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at St. John Catholic Church in Lima, Ohio. Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
