Carol Sue Zapp

Carol Sue Zapp,
67, of Lima, passed away on March 3, 2016, at 8:10 AM, at her residence, with her loving family at her side.
Carol was born on December 17, 1948, in Lima, to Henry J. and Marcella Jean (Gass) Nerderman. Her father preceded her in death, and her mother survives in Lima.
Carol retired from Lima Memorial Health System, where she worked in the Dietary Department/Cafeteria. She had also been employed at the Casa Lu Al and at other local eateries. She was a hard working woman, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Sherry (Christopher) Yant, and a son, Andrew (Jennifer) Szosz. Her grandchildren: Erik (Brooke) Yant, Zach Yant, Justin Yant, Gunner Szosz, Skyler Szosz, Evelyn Szosz. She has one great-grandchild, Ahleigh, Anthony, great grandchild on the way and a sister, Sandra Kay (Charles) Bowen and loved deeply by soul mate Brad Snider. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Smith, a nephew John Smith, nephew Kevin Smith, and a niece, Debbie Kay Mason.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 2 to 6 PM, at Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home, 920 N. Cable Rd, Lima Ohio 45805.
A service will be held for Carol on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, 6 PM at Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home, with Fr. David M. Ross officiating.
