Carolyn 'Tutty' Fannin,

68, passed away at 4:55 AM on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in her home.

Carolyn was born on March 29, 1947, in Lima, to the late William Dewey and Patricia (Trenkamp) Carpenter.

Tutty loved and cared for everyone that she knew. Her ability to love and her compassion for others was unlimited. She was a volunteer for Defiance Ladies Auxiliary at D.R.M.C. and actively involved in the Democratic Party.

She leaves: a son, Terry Ranes II, Defiance, OH; grandson, Terry Ranes III; sisters, Linda Ricker Ketzenberger, Jane Betz, Debrah Siefer, Laura (Danny) Caudell, Kathryn 'Katie' (Mike) Jones; brothers, Ed (Missy) Carpenter, Jerry (Jane) Carpenter and Gene Harkness; special niece, Kayos Ricker; and many other nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by: a daughter, Candy Sue Ranes and brother, William 'Bill' Carpenter.

The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 6 PM on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Tim Benjamin will be officiating.

The Funeral Service will begin at 6 PM on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH.
