Carolyn Pruitt Hunter

CAROLYN MAE PRUITT HUNTER, 70, died at 7:53 p.m. November 26, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born February 2, 1935, in Findlay, Ohio to Ralph and Alma VonStein Pruitt, who preceded her in death. On February 15, 1955, she married Richard A. Hunter, who died September 14, 2005. Mrs. Hunter was a homemaker and had been a bus driver for Elida and Lima Central Catholic schools. She had worked at Sheller-Globe delivering buses and had been a respiratory therapist at St. Rita's Medical Center. She enjoyed art. Survivors include a son, Mike (Jennifer) Hunter of Akron, Ohio; three daughters, Denise Hunter of Lima, Ohio, Melanie (Ron) Johnson of Bascom, Ohio and Catherine Leis of Bluffton, Ohio; a sister, Dorothy Morris; a brother, Alan Pruitt of Lakeview, Ohio; five grandchildren, Kerry Kerezsi, Steven Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Victoria Johnson and Elizabeth Leis; and a great-granddaughter, Veronica Kerezsi. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Kevin Mohr will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, Ohio.
