CAROLYN R. McGRAW, 74, died at 9:30 p.m. August 20, 2006, at her residence. She was born February 29, 1932, in Lima, Ohio to Paul E. and Frances Ellis Kennedy, who preceded her in death. On May 24, 1952, she married Richard S. McGraw, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. McGraw had been a seamstress and instructor of the Singer Sewing Machine Co. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She was a member of Lost Creek Country Club, the Lost Creek Ladies Association and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. She was a graduate of St. Rose High School. She enjoyed golfing, sewing, playing cards and attending her grandchildren's activities, especially sporting events. Survivors also include a daughter, Terri (Steve) Pepple of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two sons, Matt (Deb) McGraw and Kevin McGraw, both of Lima, Ohio; two sisters, Mick (Jerry) Mellis of Phoenix Arizona and Frances Pfeiffer of Sidney, Ohio; a brother, Paul "Skip" (Judy) Kennedy of Amarillo, Texas; 13 grandchildren, Kyle (Kelly) McGraw, Todd McGraw, Steve Pepple, Matt Pepple, Jenni McGraw, Kelly (Ty) Walker and Cassie McGraw, both of Austin, Texas, Marcy McGraw, Shela McGraw, Victoria McGraw, Taylor McGraw, Sandra Pepple and Christa Pepple; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathryn Sutherland and Marietta Merrill. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Charles Catholic Church. The Rev. Stephen Blum will officiate. Interment will be in the Gethsemani Cemetery Mausoleum.
