Carolyn V. Snider

Carolyn V. Snider, 91, passed away at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s surrounded by her loving sons.

Carolyn was born on January 17, 1933, in Lima, Ohio, to Richard and Flo (Dedrick) Cowles who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband Jack G. Wagner; son Joseph Wagner; brother and sister-in-law Tom and Lenore Cowles; father and mother-law Harold & Alvena Wagner and mother-in-law Mary Snider.

Carolyn attended Lima Central High School and was a lifetime member of Trinity Methodist Church.

On June 30, 1995 she married Bob D. Snider who survives. She is also survived by sons Steve (Debbie) Wagner, Marty (Earlene) Wagner; daughter-in-law Linda Wagner; son-in-law Rob (Kathy) Snider and daughter-in-law Susie (Dave) Hosey. Grandchildren are Steve, Michele, Travis and Derek Wagner, Amber Vreeland, Becki Woods, Jill Garig, Kerry Woods and Sara Barna; 15 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Deb’s Dogs, 1560 Wonderlick Rd, Lima, Ohio 45805.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Lori Wright will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
