Catherine Fritz

Catherine Maxine Fritz , 86 of Lima, died on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 3:20 A.M. at her residence 2 Otterbein Retirement Living Community, Cridersville,OH.

Born November 12, 1925 in Sugar Creek Twp. She was the daughter of the late Andral Vandemark and the late Catherine Hofferbert Vandemark. She married David Fritz who is deceased.

She was employed by the Ohio Power Company as a clerk for over 30 years. She is a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church, where she was active on many committees.

Surviving are a daughter, Judy Fritz of Pompano Beach, FL, also a brother, Carl (Sharon) Vandemark of Lima, two sisters; Aileen (Charles) Irvin of Lima, and Ruth (Alfred) Moughton of Roanoke, VA. A brother-in-law, Bill (Ellen) Fritz of Lima, two sister-in-laws; Bonnie Vandemark of Elida and Evelyn Quatman of Kansas City, Missouri, Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Vandemark, sisters, Bernice (Lester) Tompkins, Erma (Gene) Meier and Edith (Emerson) Glancy.

Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima

Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday April 17, 2012 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Forest Park United Methodist Church, 315 S. Collins Avenue, Lima, OH, with Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to, St. Rita's Hospice or Forest Park United Methodist Church.
