Catherine A. "Cathy" Rahrig,

62, died at 3:19 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at her residence in Lima, Ohio.

Cathy was born on Thursday, June 17, 1954, in Lima, to Edward Raymond and Melba (Murray) Ohns. Her dad survives in Cleveland and her mom preceded her in death. On Saturday, October 1, 1977, she married Jeff Rahrig who survives in Lima.

Cathy was a graduate from Lima Senior High School and received her Associate Degree from Lima Technical College. She was retired from the Lima City Water Department and currently worked at Bowsher License Bureau downtown Lima. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society. Cathy had a contagious smile and laugh and was loved by all that knew her. She dearly loved her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her two sons, Mark Rahrig of Lima, and Andy Rahrig of Columbus; a daughter, Megan (Todd) Bacome of Columbus; grandchildren, Alivea and Journie Rahrig, Aeva and Maria Bacome; brother, Edward Gerard Ohns of Melbourne, FL, sisters, Maureen (Richard) Cook of Jupiter, FL, Sheila (Mike) McPheron of Spencerville, and Monica (Bryan) Kirkpatrick of Melbourne, FL.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 PM on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 AM on Monday, February 20, 2017 at St. Gerard Catholic Church in Lima, Ohio.
