58, died at 4 AM on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at his residence in Lima.
Cecil was born on Friday, January 3, 1958, in Lima, to Cecil W. and Rosemary (Michaels) Martin, Sr. On Wednesday, December 31, 1986, he married Lila Stowers who survives in Lima.
Cecil served in the Army in Germany in the Vietnam era. He had been employed by Marathon Electric and more recently worked through Spherion. Cecil would do anything to help others in need. He was the friend you didn't know you had until you met him.
He is survived by a step child, Ronnie Dennison of Brandonburg, KY; sister, Josephine Williams of Georgetown, TN.
He is preceded in death by a step child, Jason Dennison; a sister, Ruby E. Seamster and a brother, Welsie Martin.
A memorial service will be held at a late date.
