Cecle Marie Snowdy ,
89, died at 9:28 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Lima Convalescent Home in Lima, Ohio.
Cecle was born on February 02, 1924, in Anderson, Indiana, to the late August Pepper and Hulda [Reifel] Pepper.
On Friday, December 12, 1958, she married Harold E. Snowdy, he preceded her in death on October 17, 1998.
Mrs. Snowdy attended Immaculate Conception Academy, in Oldenburg, IN and was a graduate of Batesville Indiana High School and Millers School of Business, Cincinnati, Ohio. She worked as a secretary at RCA in Indianapolis, IN for 12 yrs. and at Trader Enterprises, publisher of Trader Magazine, for 12 yrs. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, its Ruth Bible Study and Alter Guild. She volunteered for C.U.P. (Churches United Pantry), and was an avid Sports Fan and friend to all.
She is survived by: a daughter Cheryl M. (Michael) Frey, of Lima, OH; a sister-in-law Beverly Davenport; two grandchildren Carly Frey, and Chad Frey; two nephews David Davenport, and Douglas Davenport; a niece Deborah Davenport; a Brother-in-law Robert Fisher; several cousins.
She was preceded in death by: a sister Ester Fisher.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH, with Rev. Kent Wilson officiating.
Interment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
