Charles Leo Fox Jr.,
88, died at 4:37 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.
Charles was born on Monday, November 12, 1928, in Muskingum County, Ohio, to the late Charles Leo Fox Sr. and Maude [Melvin] Fox. He served in the US Marine Corp during WWII. Later in life he was the owner/operator of C&C Used Furniture. He was a member of the Evangelical & Reformed Church and VFW Post #1275.
He is survived by: son, John (Cherri) Fox, Mount Vernon, OH; daughters, DeLinda Williams, Romulus, MI, Jennifer (Michael Paris) Fox, Gomer and Katherine Louise (Dennis) Valenti, Cridersville; daughter-in-law, Debbie Fox , Lima; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Fox.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm on Monday, October 30, 2017 with the funeral service to follow at 1 pm at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery, Lima, OH. Graveside Military Honors will be conducted by VFW Post #1275.
