Charles Henry Robinson

Charles Henry Robinson, 80, formerly of Lima, passed away at 7:49 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at his lake house in Port Clinton.

Charles was born on July 18, 1942, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Francis Victor and Goldie Ellen (Southward) Robinson.  On July 15, 1976, he married Karen Sue (O’Dell) Robinson, who preceded him in death on August 10, 2018.

Charles served in the Army during the Vietnam Era, after graduating from Marion High School.  He retired from Ford Motor Company where he had worked as an electrician.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge #205 F&AM, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason – Valley of Dayton , Chapter Council & Commandery.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Robinson; grandchildren: Amanda, Jeremiah, Josiah, Rachel, Jonah, Jacob, Joshua and Jesse; brother, Harley Robinson; and sisters, Ginney Whitaker and Helen Marks.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Prater.

A private family graveside service will be at Memorial Park Cemetery on Saturday, July 8. 2023, at 12 noon.  Pastor Phil Walker will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to donor’s choice.
