Charlotte G. Lundy

was born October 21, 1926 in Canton, Ohio and died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on June 11, 2018 at St. Rita’s Hospital in Lima, Ohio.

She was the daughter of Louis and Theresa Nathison. She married James Lundy July 7, 1954 and shared 59 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister Marian Sandler, a brother-in-law Merle Sandler, and a nephew Carl Sandler.

She was a respected business woman who retained friendships with many of her employees and customers long after the doors to the Varsity Shop were closed. She will be missed by many. She is survived by her nephews: Steve (Candi) Sandler and Mark (Jane) Lundy, nieces: Jodi (Scott) Cowgill, Marcia Kahn, Janet (Jim) McPherson, and Joyce Lundy, great-nephews: Quentin Cowgill, Trevor Cowgill, and Adam Lundy, great-nieces: Caitlyn Kahn and Katharine Lundy, and many cousins.

Per her wishes, there will be no services.
