Christina Hicks Williams

Christina R. Hicks Williams 67, died at 1:15 a.m. July 3, 2009, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born November 21, 1941, in Lima, Ohio to Angelo and Genevieve Lombardo Amie, who preceded her in death. In 1960, she married Jackie B Hicks, who died January 25, 1997. They were married for 23 years. On August 28, 1986, she married David Williams, who survives in Lima, OHio. Mrs. Williams had worked at R. G. Dunn Cigar Factory and at Lima Allen County Head Start for 20 years. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School. She loved the outdoors, gardening and her teaching job at Head Start. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family very much. Survivors also include three sons, Joseph (Dawn) Hicks, of Lima, Ohio, John Hicks, of Columbus, Ohio, and James (Shawn) Hicks, of Lima, Ohio; two daughters, Kathleen (Scott) Nichols and Theresa (Todd) Hicks, both of Lima, Ohio; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, Sian Williams and Olivra Williams; and four step great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Dion Warren will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita?s Hospice, 959 W.
