Chrys Ann Pence

Chrys Ann Pence, 59, of Lima, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Cridersville Nursing Home. She was born on February 25, 1958 in Lima, Ohio to David Basinger and Julie {Cougill} Myers. Her father preceded her in death in 1971. On October 14, 1983 she married Wayne Pence who survives in Lima.
Chrys is survived by her son Joe (Erin) Pence of Dayton, daughter Nicole (Dan) Reichelderfer of Lima, and son Alex (fiancée-Erin McCarthy)Pence of Columbus, mother Julie (Wilbur) Myers, grandchildren Wyatt Pence, Hannah Pence, Kara Reichelderfer, and Nora Reichelderfer, sister Cathy Basinger of Lima, step-sister Elizabeth (Brian) Bell of Atlanta, GA, step-brother Robert (Vivian) Myers of Lima, brother-in-law David (Joan) Pence of Toledo, sister-in-law Shari (Rob) Waltz of Lima, and mother-in-law Marilyn (Bill) Kendall.
She was also preceded in death by her brother Craig Basinger and father-in-law Norman Pence.
Chrys loved being around the water, spending time with her grandchildren, animals, and her motorcycle. She was co-owner of Myers Dental Laboratory. She was a Girl Scout Leader and was also president of the PTA for a couple years.
Her family will receive friends on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 3-5:30PM at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a memorial service will follow at 5:30PM.
