Clara Jane Mary Kayser

Clara Jane Mary Kayser, 83, passed away at 4:20 a.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Lima Convalescent Home.

Clara was born on December 9, 1938 in Russia, Ohio to William F. and Viola Mary (Watren) Voisard.  On August 18, 1973 she married John E. Kayser, who preceded her in death on June 26, 2019.

Clara went to Russia Local School, Roosevelt School for the Deaf in Dayton, and Northwestern Business College. Clara was a Medical clerk typist at Lima Memorial Hospital and a long-standing member of REACT of Lima. Clara loved crocheting and bowling in her free time.

She is survived by her sister Ruth Ann Voisard; nieces and nephews, Vicki, Jim, Deb, Tom, Bob, and Dave; many great nieces and nephews; and a close personal friend Carol Ansel.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings, Edward (Patricia) Voisard, and Marlene Voisard.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at St. Rose Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio.  The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m.  Father Mike Sergi will officiate.  Burial will follow at Gethsemani Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church.
