CLARA H. "TOMMIE" ROLLER, 82, died at 9:37 p.m. July 21, 2006, at Burton's Ridge Assisted Living, Lima, Ohio. She was born January 28, 1924, in Lima, Ohio to William and Clara Holtz Kruskamp. On September 14, 1946, she married Kenneth G. Roller, who died June 15, 1999. Mrs. Roller was a wife, mother and grandmother. She was the principal's assistant at St. Rose Catholic School, from which she retired after 16 years. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Lima, and a member and past president of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was involved in many aspects of the church, school and bingo. She always felt blessed by the people, staff and residents at Burton's Ridge. Survivors include five daughters, Kathy (Jim) Riestenberg of Athens, Ohio, Debbie (David) Cheney of Lima, Ohio, Eileen (Tom) King of Harrod, Ohio, Mary Sockrider of Lima, Ohio and Sue (Jim) Szeremeta of Lima, Ohio; two sons, John "Jack" (Ruth) Roller of Lima, Ohio and Greg (Vincent Lopez) Roller of Phoenix; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Timpe; a granddaughter, Bridgette Figgins; and three brothers, Bill Kruskamp, Paul Kruskamp and Leo Kruskamp. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a rosary service will begin at 8 p.m. today.
