Clara M. Stemen, 99, died at 7:57 p.m. December 29, 2010, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born August 3, 1911, in Allen County, Ohio to Carl and Edna A. Carmen Bilimek, who preceded her in death. She married Henry W. Stemen, who died April 26, 1995. Mrs. Stemen attended Immanuel United Methodist Church, Elida. She was a woman of great faith. She was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. She loved reminiscing about old times. Her love of life encouraged and inspired so many others. She also enjoyed fishing and sewing. She loved reading her Bible. Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn I. (Charles) Stonehill, of Wapakoneta, Ohio; six grandchildren, Becky (Tom) Mielecki, Chad Clemons Jr., and Marlene Clemons, all of Lima, Ohio, Robert Stonehill, of Wapakoneta, Ohio, and Darlene (Don) Garin and Willard (Cindy) Clemons, both of Lima, Ohio; 20 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, George Bilimek, her twin Joe Bilimek, Walter Bilimek and Charles Bilimek; three sisters, Grace E. Grant, Agnes Unland and infant Mary Elizabeth Bilimek; a son-in-law, Chad Clemons; a daughter, Connie Clemons Edwards; a great-granddaughter, Michelle Mielecki; and an infant son. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 1,2011, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Kim Siberling and Donny Garin Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Mennonite Cemetery, Elida, Ohio. Friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2010, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
