Clarabelle Mohr

Clarabelle Mohr 88, died at 6:30 a.m. December 30, 2009, at her residence. She was born April 8, 1921, in Henry County to Levi and Marie Storch Pittman, who preceded her in death. On October 16, 1939, she married Lowell Mohr, who died June 22, 1989. Mrs. Mohr and her husband were owners of Hillcrest Motel. She enjoyed going to auctions, playing cards and socializing with people. She was fond of animals. She loved going on trips to Florida, spending time with her family and gardening. Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl (Terry) Brunk, of Lima, Ohio, Ardyth Haas, of Deshler, Ohio, and Denise (Mark) Seynders, of Palm Harbor, Florida; seven grandchildren, Darren (Brenda) Haas, Gary Haas, Karren (Bruce) Blue, Dean (Tosha) Mohr, Dan (Amy) Mohr, Derk Hollar and Kacy Seynders; and several great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene Mohr. Services will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. A private burial will be in Grelton Cemetery, Grelton. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
