Claude Norman,

Claude Norman Jr. 67, of Maumee, formerly of Lima, died at 1:45 a.m. August 28, 2007, at Swan Pointe Care Center, Maumee, Ohio. He was born December 7, 1939, in McCarr, Kentucky, to Claude and Edith Farley Norman Sr., who preceded him in death. Mr. Norman was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Johns, of Wapakoneta, Ohio; a brother, John P. (Mary) Norman, of Lima, Ohio; a sister, Essie Whetstone, of Tampa, Florida; and two grandchildren, 11 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and ?nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Toby J. Norman; a sister-in-law, Ella M. Norman; and a brother-in-law, Adrian Whetstone. Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta, Ohio. Pastor Michael A. Phillips will officiate. There will be no visitation.
