68 of Clarksville, Tennessee died on Sunday, June 17, 2012, at 1:50 p.m., at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, TN.
Born Friday, October 1, 1943 in Monterey, California, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Armstrong and the late Mary Ann (Corrello) Armstrong.
Claudia married Henry Hoff, he survives. She was a graduate of Elida High School class of 1961, and a graduate of Lima Memorial School of Nursing. She was a RN-CNOR and a past president of AORN-NM. She was an award winning expert lacer. Her nursing career has taken her to Ohio, Colorado, Micronesia, and New Mexico, concluding with her service at UNMH.
Surviving are: a daughter, Mary Katherine (David Ray, II) Reid of Clarkville, TN, a brother, Gale H. (Robin) Armstrong of Eagle River, AK; sister, Donna (Gary) Young of Wasilla, AK; sister-in-law, Donna L. Strohauer of Greeley, CO; brother-in-law, Ernie Con Hoff of Greeley, CO; brother-in-law, Kevin Jon Hoff, of Greeley, CO;
She was predeceased by sister, Pamela Sue Goedert.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev. Wanda Werking officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
