Clotilda Tillie Snodgrass

Clotilda T. ?Tillie? Snodgrass 93, died at 1:15 p.m. April 1, 2010, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born June 4, 1916, in Lima,Ohio, to Albert F. and Anna Sees Forche, who preceded her in death. In 1934, she married Robert Deloss Snodgrass, who died April 3, 2005. Mrs. Snodgrass graduated from St. John?s High School in 1934. She and her husband ran Snodgrass Market in Beaverdam during the late 1940s and ?50s. She was also employed by R. G. Dunn Corp., from which she retired. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She and her husband were married 71 years. Survivors include a son, Robert D. (Maureen) Snodgrass Jr., of Lakeview, Ohio; three grandchildren, Teresa (Brian) Palmer, of Fayetteville, Robert (Diana) Snodgrass, of Niceville, Florida, and Sharon (Brian) Ramey, of Tennessee; eight great grandchildren, Robert David Snodgrass, Scott Snodgrass, Blake Snodgrass, Kelly Palmer, Timothy Collinsworth, Alesa Collinsworth, Areka Collinsworth and Sadie Snodgrass; a sister, Mary Kinzer, of Lima, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Leo Forche, Frank Forche, Fredrick Forche, Edward Forche, Don Forche and Bernard Forche; and four sisters, Edith Myers, Agnes Forche, Rita Bentz and Ruth Romanowski. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church, Lima. Father David M. Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels-Indian Lake, 125 E. Patterson Ave., Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
