Clyde David Henderson,
78, of Lima, Ohio died on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 10:54 A.M. at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.

Born Tuesday, December 19, 1933 in Continental, Ohio, he was the son of the late Jesse Henderson and the late Edyth (Wagner) Henderson.

On July 4, 1951 he married Leota Mae Dennison who survives in Lima, Ohio Mr. Henderson retired from Ex-Cello/Airfoil Textron where he worked for 41 years and had also worked at Randall Bearing. He was a journeyman/cutter grinder. He was a member of UAW Local 1211. He graduated from Lima South High School. He was an avid Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Indians Fan, also enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Surviving are: three sons, David E. (Mary) Henderson of Lima, OH, George A. (Betty "Jane") Henderson, Sr. of Lima, OH and Robert D. "Bob" (Diana "Dee") Henderson of Lima, OH; a daughter, Edyth "Jane" (Randy) Klett of Lima, OH; fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Jesse (Sue) Henderson of Findlay, OH and Irvin (Sandy) Henderson of Hebron, OH; two sisters, Mary (Max) Reynolds of Lima, OH and Janet Sigmon of Lima, OH.

He was predeceased by daughter, Evelyn "June" Henderson.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.

A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Elder Ted Cory officiating.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, OH.
