Constance Blumenschein

CONSTANCE "CONNIE" BLUMENSCHEIN, 61, died at 8:47 a.m. July 9, 2006, at Plus Health Care Center. She was born May 7, 1945, in Springfield, Ohio to Melvin Aleshire and Jean James Landaker. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Springfield, Ohio. On August 19, 1964, she married Ronald Blumenschein, who died September 24, 1992. Mrs. Blumenschein was a homemaker. She was a member of Orioles Nest 173. Survivors also include three daughters, Vicki (Brian) Baker of Lima, Ohio, Linda (Paul) Lepper of Van Wert, Ohio and Amy (Trevor) Lambert of Lima, Ohio; three brothers, James (Rena) Aleshire of Lima, Ohio and Preston Aleshire and Douglas (Karen) Aleshire, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Carolyn Davis of Columbus, Ohio and Linda (Bob) Rude of Springfield, Ohio; six grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Robert Anderson of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two stepbrothers, Larry Landaker and Pete Landaker. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Daniel Curtis will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
