CORA MAE MUSIC, 90, died at 11:05 a.m. July 23, 2006, at her residence, with her children by her side. She was born February 27, 1916, in Bonanza, Kentucky, to Christopher Dutch and Nellie Coffee Webb, who preceded her in death. On April 15, 1934, she married Ermine D. Music, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Music loved spending time with her family and enjoyed flowers, gardening, quilting and reading her Bible. She was the last surviving child of her parents. Survivors include six sons, Ermigean (Evelyn) Music of Waynesfield, Ohio, William (Betty) Music of Lima, Ohio, Gordon Music of Tennessee, Darrell (Diane) Music of Spencerville, Ohio, Ted (Vicki) Music of Lima, Ohio and Hank Music of Arkansas; seven daughters, Nellie Music, Bonnie (Ken) Miller and Brenda (Darwin) Schoonover, all of Lima, Ohio, Mary (Don) McBride of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dora (Dan) White of Lima, Ohio, Phyllis Striff Anspach of Findlay, Ohio and Doris (Larry) Culp of DeGraff, Ohio; a special daughter-in-law, Sharon Rose "Queenie" Music of Lima, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Mary Gibson of Lima, Ohio; a son-in-law, Don Nedderman of St. Marys, Ohio; Grandmother of 48 grandchildren;Great Grandmother of 86 great-grandchildren; Great Great Grandmother of 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Music; two daughters, Joy Ruth Baker and Josephine Nedderman; two sons-in-law, Donald Baker and Robert W. Striff II; and two grandchildren Steven Music and April Music. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Brock will officiate. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to hospice.
