Curtis was born on June 6, 1957, in Wadsworth, Ohio, to the late Albert Treece and Naomi (Wilson) Treece. On October 16, 1982, he married Julie (McLaughlin) Treece who survives in Lima.
Curtis retired from the Shipping Department of Randal Bearings in Lima, Ohio. He was a member of New Faith Missionary Church near Lima, Ohio. He served in the Army National Guard. He belonged to the America Legion. He loved the Cleveland Cavaliers and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
He is survived by his daughter, Kaitlynn (Edward Parker) Treece, of Lima, OH, a brother Lyndon (Linda) Treece, of Wooster, OH; father-in-law, William McLaughlin, of Lima, OH, mother-in-law, Shirley McLaughlin, of Lima, OH, a brother-in-law, Keith McLaughlin, of Lima, OH, a sister-in-law, Barbara Starr, of Lima, OH; one niece, one nephew, one great nephew and one on the way.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Hart will officiate.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
