Dale Leroy Buchanan, 73 of Lima, Ohio died on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at his residence in Lima, Ohio.
Born Wednesday, October 5, 1938 in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Howard Buchanan and the late Irene Cassidy Buchanan.
On June 14, 1957 Dale married Rose Marie Camper in Lima, Ohio. She survives in Lima. He was a graduate of Lima Senior High School in 1956. He had worked at Sheller Globe and Superior Coaches as an inspector for Quality Control for 56 years. He also worked for RMS of Ohio for 4 years assisting adults with disabilities. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 370-Lima. He was a avid golfer and a huge Cleveland Browns Fan. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are sons, Mark (Brenda) Buchanan of Wapakoneta, OH, Greg Buchanan of Lima, OH and Joey (Penny) Buchanan of Harrod, OH, brothers, Warren Buchanan of Lima, OH and Don (Marsha) Buchanan of Lima, OH. Four Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brothers, Jack Buchanan and Bill Buchanan.
A Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Pastor Jerry M. Hall officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2011, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home,
