Daniel R. Everett,
64, of Lima, Ohio died on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, 1:10 P.M., at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born September 1, 1948 in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Paul Everett and the late Maxine (Leffler) Everett.
He married Alice Bougress on February 25, 1983. She survives in Lima.
He was a graduate of Lima Senior High School. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1971. He was an electronic specialist while in the Navy. He retired from Dana Corporation where he had been a machine operator. He loved to travel, ride his motorcycle, watch movies and enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews grow up. Bicycling and visiting "Crankers" were also passions of Dan. He and Alice were regular patrons of local restaurants where they enjoyed the company of the workers and friends.
Surviving are: a sister, Carol Deckrosh of Bryan, OH; a nephew, Doug (Carrie) Deckrosh of Bryan, OH; a niece Stephanie (Donald) Waggoner of London, England; and a cousin Bonnie Everett of Columbus Grove, OH.
Time of Remembrance will be Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Western Sizzlin Steak House.
