Daniel Hesburn

DANIEL P. HESBURN, 23, died at 7:28 a.m. August 8, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1982, in Lima, Ohio to William and Christina Welch Hesburn Sr. His father survives in Delphos, Ohio and his mother in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Hesburn was a cook at Texas Roadhouse for more than four years. He was a 2001 graduate of Elida High School and Apollo Career Center. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Cincinnati Bengals and professional wrestling. He loved video games. Survivors also include two brothers, David Hesburn of Lima, Ohio and William Hesburn Jr. of River Rouge, Michigan; three sisters, Lillian (Ben) Lava and Linda Simmons, both of Detroit, Michigan, and Denise (Fernando) Oskark of Melvindale, Michigan; paternal grandmother, Lillian Fields of Detroit, Michigan; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Charles and Anna Welch; and paternal grandfather, John Fields. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Bob Hines will officiate. A private family burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Catholic Cemetery, Brownstown, Michigan. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and Thursday at the funeral home.
