61 of Lima, Ohio died on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Golden Living in Lima, Ohio.
Born Monday, January 30, 1950 in Martin, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Hallie Stephens and the late Birdella Konst Stephens.
Mr. Stephens was the owner and operator of the Economy Carpet Cleaners for 30 years. He was an avid poker player, and loved to play chess. He loved to listen to the oldies, loved family gathering and traveling.
Surviving are daughter, Dan'a (Fred) Dancer, Step Daughter, Lisa Grant, Three grandchildren, brother, Johnny (Doris) Stephens of Harrod, OH, sisters, Wanda (John) Arnett of Lima, OH, Holly Blue of Holly Hill, FL and Debbie (Neil) Ferguson of Marietta, GA., Nieces & Nephews, Many
He was predeceased by sister, Pinie A. Chancey, a nephew, Jay Stephens, nephew, Dereck Deal.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the J. D. Stephens and Chris Fultz officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
