Darlene R. Coffman,

85, passed away at 5:41 AM on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice Unit in Lima.

Darlene was born on Monday, August 17, 1931, in Culver, Indiana, to Millard and Mildred [Hattery] Bok. On Sunday, March 6, 1949, she married Virgil J. Coffman who preceded her in death on February 3, 2010.

Darlene retired from Excello Corporation after 37 years. She was a member of Westside United Methodist Church. She loved taking care of her animals, working in the yard and spending time with her family. She tried to stay active by tutoring school aged kids reading and math. Darlene volunteered for the church breakfast once a month.

She is survived by daughters, Cheryl (Robert) Maddy, Wapakoneta and Deb (Glenn) Corbett, Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Aaron (Kathi) Stephens, Harrod, Brad (Derek Ruen) Stephens, Lima, Carrie Landwher, Versailles, Jennifer (Jeff) Wilmoth, Pensacola, FL and Jessica (Michael) Boslet, Seminole, AL; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Jacob, Summer, Dalton, Jacob, Emma, Abigail, Madelynn, Jacob and Maebry; brother, Maynard Bok; sister, Wanda (Tony) Kiene and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Bok.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard 'Bud' Bok.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM and from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 10 AM on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Rev. William Cronk will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
