Darlene A. Sackett,
77 passed away on February 9, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at Lima Manor.

She was born on February 9, 1938, in Lima, to Harold and Helen (Roeder) Stager. She married William Fisher on August 12, 1959, who survives. They were divorced. She then married Raymond Sackett on February 22, 1982, and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2002. She was a graduate of Lafayette Jackson High School in 1956.

She had worked for 30 years at Lima Memorial Hospital as a secretary for the Director of Nursing. She had also worked for Beck and Sarno Insurance, and retired from Allen County Childrens Services in 2001.

She was a member of First Evangelical and Reformed Church, and a member of Lima Auxiliary FOE Eagles 270. She enjoyed bowling, card playing, garage sales, shopping at thrift stores and was an avid reader.

She is survived by a son, Michael Fisher, of Lima, daughters Joy Nance and Melanie Sheridan both of Lima. She has 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Larry Stager of Elida.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Victor Nance.

The family will receive friends at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home on Thursday, February 12, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

There will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
