66, of Lima, passed away at 8:14 PM on Thursday, October 08, 2015, at St. Rita's Medical Center.

Darrell was born on Friday, February 04, 1949, to the late Ermine D. and Cora (Webb) Music. On December 10, 1983 he married Diane Renbarger Music who survives him in Lima.

Darrell retired from the Lima Army Tank Plant and was the owner of Lima Furniture Depot. He enjoyed going to auctions, interaction with his customers, Ohio State Football and cooking.

He is survived by: sons, Scott Music, FL, Keith Music, Flint, MI and James (Marci) Plaugher, Lima; daughters, Nicole Hubbard, Columbus, Kayla Music, Lima, Mandy (Jeff) Ruvoldt, St. Marys and Dee Schroer, New Bremen; brothers, William (Betty) Music, Lima, and Ted (Vickie) Music, Lima; sisters, Doris (Larry) Culp, DeGraff, OH, Nellie Music, Lima, Bonnie (Ken) Miller, Lima, Dori (Dan) White, Elida, Brenda Schoonover, Lima and Mary (Don) McBride, Lawrenceburg, IN and brother-in-law, Don Nedderman, St. Mary's. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: sisters, Ruth Baker, Phyllis Gray Anspach and Josephine Nedderman and brothers, Gordon Music, Hank Music, Ermigene Music and Douglas and Sharon "Queenie" Music and brother-in-law, Darwin Schoonover.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Rev. James Plaugher will officiate.

A funeral service will begin at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery.
