70, died at 2:52 PM on Friday, July 26, 2013, at Kindred Hospital in Lima, Ohio.
David was born on March 11, 1943, in Findlay, Ohio, to the late James Allen Baughman and Virginia [Ricketts] Baughman.

David married Diane K. Krapf on August 27, 1966 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. She preceded him in death on July 25, 2012. He was a Commercial Pilot and a Flight Instructor. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Elida, Ohio; a member of GWRAA and an active Ham Radio Operator. He enjoyed flying and riding his Goldwing motorcycle. He loved his family and spending time with them.

His surviving family members: four sons, David (Tony Gettler) Baughman of Cincinnati, OH, James Baughman, of Lima, OH, Ned (Kelly) Baughman, of Harrod, OH, and Gary (Sarah) Baughman, of Ottawa, OH, eleven grandchildren Anthony, Kaylynn, Mattie, Lynnsey, Grady, Gabriella, Miley, Nicholas, Abigail. Tristan, and Makayla; one brother James Baughman of Hebron, KY. and a sister, Phyllis Campbell of Findlay, OH.

He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gene Campbell.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Elida, Ohio. Rev. Kimberly Siberling- Pope and Rev. Bruce Tumblin will officiate.

Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, Ohio.
