David H. Brown

David H. Brown, 61, of Lima, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at The James Cancer Hospital. He was born on December 30, 1962, in Richmond, IN to the late Ralph and Evelyn {Henry} Brown.  On June 11, 1994, he married Karen {Williams} who survives him in Lima.

David graduated from Whiteland High School in Whiteland, IN in 1981. He worked as a truck driver for Republic Services for 15 years. He enjoyed racing go-carts, fishing, target shooting, racing remote control cars, and golfing. He taught 4-H and coached his daughter’s softball team. He was a lover of all animals and was known for his huge heart; never knowing a stranger.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Samantha Brown, Robert Brown, Gregory (Tiffany) Harris, Nicholas (Jessica) Harris, and Jonathan (Kristen) Harris; 9 grandchildren; and sister, Sherry (William) Coomes.

His family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 4 - 8 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, 920 N. Cable Road, Lima, Ohio.
