David Cook

David C. Cook, 61, died at 9:16 a.m. March 31, 2009, at his residence, following a brief illness. He was born Aug. 9, 1947, in Lima to Arthur and Catherine Leatherman Cook, who preceded him in death. On Nov. 23, 1974, he married Deanna K. Wehrman, who survives in Lima. Mr. Cook retired from Kmart and was owner and operator of Dave?s Autographs & More. He was a 1965 graduate of Lima Senior High School and received his bachelor?s degree from Bluffton College. He enjoyed golfing, table tennis, darts and bowling. Survivors also include two sisters, Janice Sue (Gene) Swallow, of Lima, and Anita M. Cook, of Bluffton; and several nieces and nephews. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Vern LaSala will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthur G.
