David F. Polser,

57, passed away at 4:44 PM on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at his home in Lima.

David was born on Tuesday, May 20, 1958, in Lima, to Fred and T. Jean (Strange) Polser. His mother still survives him in Lima. On Saturday, September 21, 1996, he married Glenda Phelps.

David was retired from The Ohio State University. He loved fishing and gardening. He enjoyed taking summer trips with his family to Hocking Hills.

He is survived by: three daughters, Stephanie (Jared) Van Dyke, Cleveland, Jodi Polser, Columbus and Josie Hogue, Lima; grandchildren, Jordan, Jaysen and Sophie Van Dyke and Paisley Neal; four brothers, Bob, Bill, Randy and Gary all of Lima.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 PM on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Pastor Dan Holbrook will officiate. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, Ohio.
