David Michael Sarakaitis,
of Igo, California; formerly of Lima; died Saturday, December 4th, 2011 as the result of injuries suffered during a car accident.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, December 8th, 1975, to Michael and Susan Sarakaitis, he was a 1994 graduate from Shawnee High School.
He was an avid outdoor adventurer and enjoyed living in northern California's rugged environment with his family, friends and dogs.
David is survived by his parents Michael and Susan, his brother Eric (April) who currently reside in Johnstown, Ohio; his girlfriend Jennifer Yount and her daughters Bridget and Genevieve; paternal grandmother Helen Sarakaitis, maternal grandmother Patricia Corcoran. David is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
David was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Ad Sarakaitis and maternal grandfather John L Corcoran.
Visitation will be held at 4:00-8:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2011 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.

A memorial mass will be held at St Rose Catholic Church in Lima, Ohio Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 11:30 A.M.
