Debra Rable

Debra Rable, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from Kindred Hospital in Lima.

Debra was born on May 5, 1953 in Lima, Ohio, to Gerald Gene and Glenna L. (Phillips) Kimmel.  On September 15, 1991 she married James Rable, who survives in Lima.

Debra was a phlebotomist for American Red Cross.  She also worked as a lab technician at American Trim. She enjoyed water aerobics at the YMCA, watching Andy Griffith tv shows, Hallmark movies, and Fat Jack’s.  She very much enjoyed spending time with her husband and family.  Debra had an infectious smile that could brighten anyone’s day.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her son, Shawn (Missy) Bowers and grandchildren, Riley and Logan; son, Jason (Nikki) Bowers and granddaughters: Emily, Carly, Avery and Miley; siblings, Jackie (Bo) McComas and Janis Daley; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Kimmel; grandson, Brady Bowers; brother, Michael Kimmel; sister, Sally Gamble; and brother-in-law, Kevin Daley.

The family will receive friends from 3 – 7 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14th at the funeral home.  Pastor Greg Royston will officiate.  Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army – Christmas Fund.
