Dellace Holten, 82, passed away at 12:40 p.m. on March 8, 2022, at his residence.
Dellace was born on December 6, 1939 in Spencerville, Ohio to Frank Sr. and Norma (Kerr) Holten. On August 1, 1961 he married Marilyn (Crites) Holten, who survives in Rockford, IL.
Dellace worked 18 years for Clark Equipment/BLH, then retired from Chrysler, after about 20 years. Dellace loved messing with tractors, and collecting cars and antiques. He enjoyed training dogs, reading, and learning about history. Above everything, he loved his family and was a great provider for them and his close friends.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children: Keith Holten, Dellace Holten Jr., Tonnetta (Dennis) Rice, and Stephen L. Holten; grandchildren: Stephen Tyler (Brittany) Holten, Jared Zane (Rebecca) Holten, Eathan Brandt (Alasuk) Holten, Seth David (Kilee) Holten, Fallynn Myeerah Holten, Kurtis (Grace) Rice, Alyson (Joshua) Grubb, Ashley Holten-Barton, Shane (Ashley) Holten, Andy Holten; eleven great-grandchildren; and siblings: Mary Stuttler, Donald Holten, and Julie Ann Irvin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, William Holten; and siblings: Frank Holten Jr., Jim Holten, and John Holten.
The family will receive friends from 4 - 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. A funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Spencerville Cemetery, Spencerville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
