DENNIS FOXVOG Sr., 73, died at 7:50 a.m. July 1, 2005, at his residence. He was born June 12, 1932, in Warsaw, Indiana, to Joe and Maxine Arnsberger Foxvog, who preceded him in death. On September 3, 1955, he married Marna Bishop, who died June 18, 2001. Mr. Foxvog was the former owner of Dobbins Tile & Marble Co. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 20 years as an assembler. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 370, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 and American Legion Post 96 in Lima. He loved old trucks and cars. He served in the Army from September 4, 1952, to August 17, 1954. Survivors include a son, Dennis (Lucy) Foxvog Jr. of Cridersville, Ohio; daughter, Robin (Jeff) Feicht of Lima, Ohio; two brothers, Patrick (Jeannette) Foxvog of Omaha, Nebraska, and Charles (Glenda) Dobbins of Savannah, Georgia; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. Father Dave Ritchie will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Mausoleum, Lima. VFW Post 1275 will perform a graveside military service at 11 a.m. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
