Dennis was born on September 7, 1943, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Oscar Hurley and Minnie Mae (Doute) Hurley. On Saturday, June 01, 1963, he married Susan (Skates) Hurley. She survives in Lima.
He is survived by: a son, Timothy Lee Hurley, of Lima, OH; a daughter, Susan Marie (Kenneth) Decker, of Columbus, OH; six grandchildren, Tobias, Lydia, Tilly, Gideon, Zebadiah and Zillian; two great grandchildren, Precious and Leland.
His was preceded in death by: a sister, Barbara Hurley.
A Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Open Door Baptist Church. Rev. William Turner will officiate.
