Diane Kay (Neiswander) Dulebohn of South Ft. Myers, Florida previously of Lima passed into everlasting life at 12:10 p.m. on September 30, 2013 at the Larsen Pavilion at Shell Point in South Ft. Myers, Florida. Diane was born in Lima, Ohio on August 10, 1942 the only child of Thea M. Hilyard and Philip R. Neiswander, both deceased of Lima. She married Robert C. Dulebohn of Waynesfield, Ohio on March 24, 1962 who survives at Kelly Greens in South Ft. Myers, Florida.
Diane was a 1960 graduate of Lima Senior High School. She attended Lima Technical College. She served as a secretary at Westinghouse Electric to the engineering division. She served as church secretary at First Church of God, Lima. She served as Legal Secretary to the firm of Kuhn, Kuhn, Mauer and Reeves and then to the law offices of Van Blargen and Goldberg. She also served as a secretary at the Joint Systems Manufacturing facility in Lima.
She was a licensed realtor in the Lima Area for many years serving the firms of The Gooding Co., Cowan Realtors, Azzarello Realtors and Slonaker Realty. Later in her real estate career she served as an appraiser with the Allen County Sheriff's Department.
Diane was the Great-Grandchild of Adam and Anna Neiswander, founders of the Christian, Missionary and Alliance Church in Lima and co-founders of the Lima Rescue Home. Her Grandfather Jacob Albert Neiswander was an ordained Christian, Missionary and Alliance minister. She was raised in a life of rich Christian heritage and fostered a home of humbleness and service to the Lord for her children. She attended Gardendale Church of God, First Church of God, Lima Community Church of the Nazarene, Shawnee Alliance Church all of Lima and McGreggor Baptist Church in Ft. Myers. She served as kindergarden sunday school teacher at First Church of God and 5th and 6th grade sunday school teacher at Lima Community Church of the Nazarene, for several years, both of Lima. She was a member of several missionary groups and also was involved with the WCTU for many years. Most recently she focused on the Apples of Gold ministry at the McGreggor Baptist Church in Fort Myers, Florida concentrating on mentoring young women.
Survivors include two daughters, Shellie (Jerry) Klink of Lima, Ohio and Sara Wise of Van Wert, Ohio. Grandchildren include Tyler Klink of Richmond, VA, Clarissa Klink of Lima and Megan Jacobs, Hallie Wise and Caleb Wise all of Van Wert, Ohio.
Visitation with the family will be held at the Shawnee Alliance Church from 2-4 and from 6-9 on Sunday, October 6, 2013. Celebration of Life service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013, at Shawnee Alliance Church with Dr. Daniel Messner, pastor, presiding. Burial will follow in Ft. Amanda Cemetery, Lima. Memorial contributions can be made to Hope Hospice Health Care Services, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, Florida 33908.
