Dolores was born on May 28, 1927, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Orrin Brown & Edith (Harter) Brown. On Saturday, November 16, 1946, in Lima. Ohio, she married Carl F. Kettler. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2002.
She retired from Ohio Teledyne Steel as an Accounts Payable Clerk. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was active with the former Grace United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, loved crosswords, jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed watching birds. She loved spending time with family and cookouts.
She is survived by: a sister, Margie Harkins, Springfield, OH; a brother, Norman (Nelda) Brown of Florida; many nieces & nephews; and a sister-in-law, Irene Baxter of Lima, Ohio
She was preceded in death by: a son - Todd Kettler.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Rev. David Harris officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
