DOMINIC D. "DONNIE" GUAGENTI, 71, died at 2:40 a.m. Dec. 30, 2005, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home. He was born April 16, 1934, in Lima to Frank J. and Virginia Macaluso Guagenti, who preceded him in death. On April 12, 1963, he married Carolyn Risner, who survives. Mr. Guagenti was former co-owner of Milano's and Tudor's Restaurant on Elida Road. He was an entrepreneur. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Charitable Italian American Organization (CIAO). He attended John Carroll University. He loved fishing and culinary arts. He was a devout family man. He was an Army veteran, serving from Jan. 3, 1955, to Oct. 5, 1956. Survivors also include two sons, Dominic "Dino" (Gina) Guagenti of Lima and Greg (Kathy) Guagenti of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; four daughters, Roz (John) Mikesell and Natalie (Mohamed) Dahi, both of Lima, Nannette Guagenti of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Jacqueline "Jackie" Guagenti of Dublin; a brother, Joseph (Connie) Guagenti of Lima; a sister, Mrs. Gena (John) Mongelluzzo of Lima; 10 grandchildren, Jodi, Kayla, Ryan, Dominic, Anthony, Alexis, Gianna, Dominic, Charlie and Caroline; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Rev. Stephen Blum will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m., and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
