Donald D. Crawford,
82, passed away at 5:19 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, after a long battle with cancer he went home to be with his Lord and Savior and his beloved wife Esther Marie.
Donald was born on Wednesday, May 30, 1934, in Green County, to the late Emmons B. and Carole V. (Butts) Crawford. On Wednesday, November 2, 1955, he married Esther Marie Waaland who preceded him in death January 13, 2015.
Donald was a truck driver for AGA Industrial Gases. He was an avid golfer and an Ohio State Buckeye Fan. He was dedicated to the Lord and his family and loved them dearly.
He is survived by: sons - David (Barb) Crawford of Lima and Bradley J. Crawford, Newton Falls, Ohio; daughters, Gayann Marie (David) Perry of Tiffin, Vicki Lynn (Steve) Thompson of Attica and Deb (Dan) Hosler of Logansport, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Charlene Crawford of Benson, Arizona; sisters, Norma June (John) Gillette and Eilene Landis and brother, Harold Eugene (Betty) Crawford.
He is preceded in death by: brothers, Blaine Crawford and Lauren Robert "Bob" Crawford.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 PM on Saturday September 10, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a funeral service will begin at 6 pm. Pastor Shawn Hurley will officiate.
