67, passed away at 5:00 AM on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at his residence in Lima.

Donald was born, December 26, 1947, in Lima, Ohio Jerry A. Dye, Sr. and Gladys J. (Light) Dye; both parents preceded him in death.

Donald worked as a truck driver for various companies. He was a member of F O Eagles Aerie #370, Lima. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Lisa R. Dye; daughters, Katrina A. VanHorn, Tiffany (Kevin) Mills and Dawn J. Angel; sons, James (Crystal) Elliott, David Booth; grandchildren, Jenny, Adam , Branden, Kristen, Kory, Kayla, Ashley, Mindy, Brooklyn, Shawn, Dylan, Crystal, Shaneca, Jimmy, Alexis, Britton, Jordan, Jaden, Kaitlinn , Andrea; twelve, great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Albert (Shirley) Dye, Jr. and sister Carolyn (Delbert) Mayer.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Jane Dye; sons, Donald E. Dye Jr. and Edward L. Smith; daughter, Mary J. Angel; sisters, Candance Thomas, Cheryl McKennly, Janice Roush; niece, Teresa Mayer; uncle, Buck Light.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday, March 30, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 PM on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas Brown will officiate.

Burial will be at a later date.
