DONALD J. "DON" ENGBERG, 55, died February 26, 2006, at his residence. He was born May 24, 1950, in Jamaica, New York, to Gustave D. and Claire Murray Engberg, who preceded him in death. Mr. Engberg was a route salesman for Wonder Bread/Hostess Cake Co., for more than 27 years. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 2089, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 199 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. He was a Marine Corps veteran. He loved bowling, fishing and golfing. Survivors include two sons, John Engberg of Lima, Ohio and Matthew Engberg of Defiance, Ohio; four brothers, Gustave D. "Doug" (Rhonda) Engberg of Medway and Tom (Amy) Engberg, Rick (Amy) Engberg and Bob "York" (Katie) Engberg, all of Lima, Ohio; two sisters, Clair (Al) Grapner of Lima, Ohio and Mary Ann (Mark) Dershem of Fruitport, Michigan; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and -nephews; and his former wife, Lee "Sue" Bowers. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Stephen Blum will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275.
